Our Eve branded ER34615+SPC1520 product consists of a super pulse capacitor and a lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCL2) battery. These batteries are used together in the field by connecting two cells in parallel to provide the required capacity in the field. Of course, different combinations can be achieved by varying the number of ER cells behind the SPC or even using more SPC devices simultaneously.
The Lithium primary battery, the ER, stores sufficient capacity and keeps the SPC charged, while the SPC device can quickly pump the pulse charge into the system. This combined product successfully provides solutions for both high energy density (large capacity) and high power density (high instantaneous current) requirements. Combines EVE ER batteries with super capacitors, lithium-based SPC systems offer the following advantages:
